Using Digital Edutainment in Teaching Science to Develop Some Evaluative Thinking Skills and Emotional Intelligence among Preparatory School Students

Abstract

The current research aimed to develop some evaluative thinking skills and emotional intelligence among middle school students, using digital edutainment. The research sample amounted to (90) male and female students from the second middle school grade, (45) in the experimental group studied the selected unit using digital entertainment education, (45) in the control group studied the same unit in the usual way, and by applying the research tools before and after on the sample, it was found that the size of the effect of using digital entertainment education in teaching the selected unit was large in developing the research variables among the students of the experimental group, and in light of the research results, a set of educational recommendations and research proposals were presented.
