Abstract

The current study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of a proposed training program based on technological innovations to develop digital teaching skills among student teachers in the Basic Education Department, Science Specialization in Faculty of Education. The study group consisted of (30) male and female students from the third year of the Basic Education Department, Science Specialization in Faculty of Education, Damietta University, for the academic year 2023/2024. To achieve the study objective, the researcher used the experimental method with a quasi-experimental design for one group, and prepared a test to measure the cognitive aspect of digital teaching and its skills, which were included in (6) main skills from which (23) sub-skills branched out, and a checklist to observe the performance aspects of digital teaching among students in the study group. She also prepared a training program in light of some technological innovations, which were represented in (20) digital tools and applications. The study tools and materials were applied before and after to the students, and the results were monitored and processed statistically. The results of the study concluded that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of 0.05 between the average scores of the study group students in the two applications. Pre - and post-test to test the cognitive aspect of digital teaching and its skills, and a performance aspects observation card for digital teaching for the benefit of post-test application.
