Abstract

The research aimed to develop levels of depth of knowledge and inclination towards using artificial intelligence applications in learning science among first-year middle school students and to determine the correlation between them. The experimental method was used with its quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of (68) male and female students who were selected from the schools of Al-Khanka Center in Qalyubia Governorate. They were randomly distributed into two control and experimental groups. The two measurement tools were a depth of knowledge test and a measure of inclination towards using artificial intelligence applications in learning science, prepared by the researcher. The results resulted in There is great effectiveness in using artificial intelligence applications in developing the depth of knowledge and inclination towards using artificial intelligence applications. The value of the size of its effect in developing the depth of knowledge as a whole using the Eta square (ή2) was (0.46), and the value of the size of its effect in developing the tendency as a whole using the Eta square (ή2) was (0.22). It also became clear that there is a moderate and direct correlation between the development of levels of depth Knowledge and development of inclination towards using artificial intelligence applications among students of the experimental group. Some recommendations and proposals were also presented.
