Abstract

The goal of the current research is to determine the effectiveness of a proposed unit to confront climate change challenges using artificial intelligence applications in developing concepts related to climate change and sustainable thinking among secondary school students. To achieve this goal, the proposed unit was built, designed, and taught using a chat robot via the Messenger application. The research sample consisted of (44) female students in the second year of secondary school in El-Minya Governorate in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024, as one experimental group. Then apply the two measurement tools, which are: concepts related to climate change Test and sustainable thinking Test on members of the research group, pre- and post-test. The results were processed statistically using means, standard deviation, and t-test. The research reached the effectiveness of the proposed unit in developing concepts related to climate change and sustainable thinking among research group. In light of these results, the research presented a set of recommendations and proposed research.
