Abstract

The study aims to reveal the level of teaching practices of female science teachers for the intermediate stage in the light of Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS-2019); where she prepared a questionnaire to reveal the level of those teaching practices from the viewpoint of female science supervisors and teachers. The questionnaire was applied to a random sample consisting of (20) female science supervisors and (122( female science teachers for the intermediate stage in Makkah, and the findings showed a high level of teaching practices of female science teachers for the intermediate stage in the light of Trends in International Study of Mathematics and Science (TIMSS-2019) from the viewpoint of female science supervisors and teachers, with arithmetic averages that ranged, respectively (2.38) and (2.72), which are thus classified within the level of high practice. The findings also found that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average ranks of the levels of the female teachers’ responses (75.72), and the average ranks of the female supervisors’ levels (45.78) on the level of teaching practices of female science teachers in the light of Trends in International Study of Mathematics and Science (TIMSS-2019) in favor of female teachers, and there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average levels of the teachers’ responses on the level of teaching practices in the general average for all pivots in the light of Trends in International Study of Mathematics and Science (TIMSS-2019) According to the variables of teaching experience and training courses.
