A comparative study of the level of scientific culture for university education students in two Universities Egyptian and Arabian

Abstract

Current study aimed to identify the level of scientific culture for university education students in some Arab universities (Menoufia in Egypt and Zayed in the United Arab Emirates). The researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach according to semi-experimental procedures, and the scientific/general culture test was applied electronically to a sample of (246) professional and private diploma students at the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University, and undergraduate students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Zayed University during 2022. Results showed a low level of scientific culture among the study sample, associated with a significant increase in the average scores of Menoufia University students compared to Zayed University students which could be attributed to the number of experience studies years, which are six and five years in the private and professional diploma respectively, compared to four years in the undergraduate student of Zayed University. The study recommended the need to include the concepts of scientific culture in University education programs, and their development.
