A suggested program in the fields of Environmental Innovation to develop Sustainable Thinking and attitudes towards Green Products among Student-teachers of Biology

Abstract

The research aimed to prepare a suggested program in the fields of Environmental Innovation and identify its effectiveness in developing Sustainable Thinking and attitudes towards Green Products among Biology student-teachers. The group of study comprised 47 students of fourth year of Biology, Geology and Environmental sciences section, at faculty of Education, Assiut University. The materials and tools of the study included: a suggested program in the fields of Environmental Innovation, an achievement test, a Sustainable Thinking test, and an Attitude Scale towards Green Products. The experimental research design of one group was used. The results of the research have indicated the effectiveness of the suggested program in developing student-teachers’ achievement, Sustainable Thinking, and attitudes towards Green Products. The research recommends the incorporation of the suggested fields of of Environmental Innovation into the courses of Environmental Sciences student-teachers study at Biology, Geology and Ecology section.
