Abstract

The research aimed to develop a plan to use the SAMR model through the educational platform Edmodo, in lectures on teaching methods, and then investigate its effectiveness in the developing of the technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). The researcher adopted the experimental approach with semi-experimental procedures that based on the design of the experimental and control groups with the post-application of the measurement tools, and the TPACK knowledge scale was applied in learning on a sample of (68) students from the Physics Division of the Faculty of Education, Menoufia University for the year 2019, where the students were divided into two experimental and control groups. The results showed that the integration and interdependence between the different stages of the SAMR model in the teaching methods course that was studied through the educational platform Edmodo had a clear reflection on the acquisition of the dimensions of scientific knowledge of TPACK, the development of self-learning skills and making learning interactive as well as the survival of the impact of learning, in addition to that the SAMR model helped to provide an organized learning environment, and provide a variety of educational methods, and strategies. The researcher recommended the need to improve electronic platforms through new and advanced learning models, and directing attention to greater use of digital technology in education.
