Abstract

The aim of the research is to prepare a suggested program for the prevention of E- waste and to know its effectiveness in developing some concepts of sustainable development and consumptive awareness among student teachers in the Basic Education Division of Sciences in the first year of the Faculty of Education, Assiut University. The research group consisted of (60) students, and the research materials and tools included a suggested program for the prevention of electronic waste and testing the concepts of sustainable development and the measure of consumptive  awareness, and the experimental approach was used with one group, and the results showed the effectiveness of the suggested program of electronic waste in developing some concepts of sustainable development and consumptive awareness among student teachers in Basic Education Science section, and the research recommended the need to include The topic of electronic waste in environmental science courses taught by student teachers
