Abstract

The current research aimed to develop the skills and concepts related to the green family among prep. school students. The researchers prepared a proposed program to develop skills and concepts related to the green family based on survey by using multimedia. The research used the experimental method, and the proposed program was applied to the research group of 30 students. The research tools consisted of a test of environmental concepts and a scale of environmental skills that included three dimensions (identifying problems - organizing data and information - suggesting solutions). The results indicated statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre and post application in each of the three dimensions of environmental skills scale, and the environmental concepts test. Recommendations were presented, including the including program topics in the educational activities of prep school students and benefiting from the proposed program by ministry of education in various governorates.
