The effectiveness of a suggested strategy based on the principles of the constructive learning in developing the conceptual acquisition and creativity in science among Al-Azhar five-year primary stage students

Abstract

The current research aimed at developing the conceptual acquisition and creativity in science among Al-Azhar five-year primary stage students via a strategy based on the constructive learning principles. The study made use of a test assessing the dimensions of the conceptual acquisition, and scale of creative thinking in science during the first term of the academic year 2017/2018 A.D. The results of the study pinpointed the effectiveness of the suggested strategy in developing the conceptual acquisition and creativity in science. The results also showed that there is a positive correlation between the conceptual acquisition and creativity. The research recommended utilizing the principles of the constructive learning in developing science tasks in the light of such principles. Furthermore, the study recommended developing the necessary suggested programs for developing the dimensions of acquisition and creativity in science among the Al-Azhar five-year primary stage students.
