Abstract

The objective of current research is to develop the scientific concepts and reasoning thinking skills in science for seventh-grade pupils subject in Gaza using Concept Attainment Model. The group consisted of two groups: the experimental group included 38 students, and the control group included 38. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher has prepared lists of scientific concepts and reasoning thinking skills, teacher's guide and student's book according to Concept Attainment Model, and two research tools have been prepared that included test of scientific concepts and scale of reasoning thinking skills, and then the two tools have been adjusted statistically. After that. Thereafter, the unit "The Temperature in Our Life" have been taught for the experimental group according to Teacher's Guide, and to the control group according to the Teacher's Method in class. The results showed the effectiveness of using Concept Attainment Model in the developing of scientific concepts and reasoning thinking skills for pupils of the experimental group < /p>
