Abstract

The Study aimed To verify the effectiveness of the suggested program based on self regulated learning strategies. in developing the teaching skills and the attitudes towards the profession among pre-service science teachers, and the results were as following:
-  There was a statistical significant differences at the level of α = (0.01) between the means of the pre-service science teachers for both the experimental and control group for each of the teaching skills and the attitudes towards the profession in favor of the experimental group. And between the means of the pre and posttest of the observation card for the teaching skills and the attitudes towards the profession scale in favor of the post-test.
-  the was a correlative relationship that was statistically significant  at the level of α = (0.01) between the teaching skills and attitudes towards the profession.
